Response to Liz Jone's essay

I really enjoyed reading Liz Jone's essay, " What I think About the Fashion World." It was quite refreshing hearing that someone in the fashion world agrees that women with curves are beautiful too. Every magazine I flip through I see an extremely skinny model, you rarely ever see women with a couple extra pounds, unless they're being shamed for gaining weight. I believe the fashion world should be more versatile. It should praise every shape and size since not every woman is bless with being 6 ft. tall and 100 pounds. Women were born to have curves, with child bearing hips and in the fashion world, having too large of thighs is frowned upon. Every shape and size is beautiful....If it is illegal for an employer to discriminate for a regular job than why is it okay to discriminate when it comes to fashion??
Liz Jones did a brave thing fighting for what she believed in. Although she failed to persuade her co-workers to help fight for plus-sized women, she did make her arguement controversial as it became highly talked about.

I chose a pack of newports as my advertisement for class. The reason I chose this was because in American culture many people are smokers. I myself, am a smoker. My cigarette of choice is a newport, which happens to be one of the most expensive brands of cigarettes. Cigarettes are so popular that the state has been taxing cigarettes more and more. Although cigarettes have become quite an expensive habit, people keep buying and can't seem to knock the addiction. The price of cigarettes has raised at a remarkable rate since my Parents have grown up. The price of cigarettes will continue to rise, since our culture will keep consuming due to the horrible addiction.
